More Playoff Scenarios

The top four seeds are now set. and the remaining two games will decide which side of the bracket that Gil and Mike will play in.  The key game is Gil versus Derek.  If Gil loses that game, Mike is #5 and Gil is #6.  If Gil wins that game, then the Mike versus Derek game will decide the final seedings.

  • Derek owns the head to head tiebreaker over me and Danny, so he is in #1 even if he loses both remaining games and falls into a 3-2 tie with Danny and me.
  • Roel loses a three way 3-2 tie with Derek for the first seed, but owns the head to head tiebreaker over Danny and will be #2.
  • Danny loses the head to head with Derek and Roel and will be #3.
  • Chad owns the 2-3 head to head tiebreaker over Gil and Mike and is locked into #4.
  • Mike owns the head to head tiebreaker over Gil and needs either a Gil loss or a win over Derek to secure #5.
  • Gil needs to finish with a better record than Mike to finish #5 because he loses the head to head tiebreaker with Chad and Mike in the event of a 2-3 tie.  Unless Gil wins and Mike loses, Gil will be #6.
